Would it be a good idea to take Multivar. Calculus and Linear Algebra in the same semester?

I'm not sure why it wouldn't be a good idea? It isn't really all that different from taking any other classes at the same time. Most people take 2-3 heavy courses at a time, and 1-2 "filler" classes that require less time and effort are snuck in.
