Do you support law enforcement or should it be abolished?

I support law enforcement (I am a police officer :-D). Just imagine a shooting starts at a school (that happened in my district recently). If there are no police to call, and law prohibits anyone from carrying a gun (except for very few states), what is one supposed to do? I recently happened upon a sexual assault that was almost in progress while on a bike patrol route in a park. I made the arrest, and the would-have been victim escaped unharmed. It is an undisputable fact that police presence reduces crime. So it boils down to this: Those who wish to abolish law enforcement wish to increase crime. Those who support law enforcement wish to reduce crime.
